Drive in Racking

Drive In – Drive Thru Pallet Racking systems are designed for fast moving products on a pallet-in/pallet-out basis. Each racking bay is dedicated to a single SKU or lot number. It is frequently used in facilities with higher number of skids with a lower number of SKU’s or where floor space is at a premium (i.e. freezers & coolers). Pallet retrieval is done from the same aisle as it was loaded from.

The Last in First out (LIFO) principle applies for loading and unloading of goods. Loads are stored on rails and newer loads push the older loads to the back.

This freestanding and self-supporting structure offers high-density storage increasing floor utilization by 50% with allowing access from both sides for convenient picking. Drive-in racking allows for the maximum use of space and product by eliminating the need of access aisles, therefore the storage volume is more than doubled compared to standard pallet racking.
